My mission in life is to lift the veil of mediocrity under which so many of us live, to pave the way for us all to expect and embrace excellence in ourselves and in our lives and to educate, inspire and enable people to live as the fullest expression of who they are.
After experiencing a period of high stress and subsequent burnout whilst working as an IT and Finance consultant, I decided to find out what I really wanted from life and how to create the life of freedom, fulfilment and fun I really wanted.
Using my already keen interest in personal development and wellbeing as inspiration, I retrained as a life coach in a bid to help others avoid the same pitfalls of working too many hours in jobs they had no passion for, becoming so stressed it ended up damaging their mental and physical wellbeing and settling for lives lacking meaning and fulfilment.
I now use my wealth of knowledge about mental and physical wellbeing combined with positive psychology and coaching tools to provide talks and workshops for corporates, networking groups and conferences.
This talk has been created specifically to help people manage the uncertainty and change that we are all experiencing due to COVID-19.
The key points covered are:
By the end of the talk participants can expect to:
Many of us are living our lives by default, following the same well trodden paths even if they’re not ultimately fulfilling. In this talk I cover the key components of finding and living your life purpose including:
People pleasing is an invisible pandemic. Even if we don’t realise it, many of us are living our lives in order to keep others happy. Eventually this takes a serious toll on our happiness and our ability to live in a way that pleases us. In this talk I cover:
I was lucky enough to have Corinne volunteer to come and speak with my network LondonTechLadies where she ran a session on ‘Cure Your People Pleasing, Take Back Control of Your Life’. Corinne was fantastic to work with leading up the event, everything ran smoothly and her organised and friendly approach was great. On the evening itself the presentation was really well received by our network and we were so lucky to have Corinne with us. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Corinne came to Accenture to deliver a workshop on ‘How to Cure your People Pleasing’ for ~30 women in our Technology Consulting and Technology practices. It was a great opportunity for us to get together to reflect on some of the situations we’ve been in and issues we may have faced and discuss ways to improve our experiences in the future. Thank you Corinne for holding the session for us!
Corinne came to speak at our SHE means business lunch & learn event and was fantastic. She was incredibly engaging with our guests and left everyone with some food for thought. We’ve had some brilliant feedback from our guests and would definitely recommend her as a speaker.
I worked with Corinne on a recent Employment Trends event where I asked Corinne to be on the panel. Corinne was a pleasure to work with, she understood the brief, was very warm and responsive, and added a lot of value to the conversation and to the audience
Corinne spoke at an event aimed at mums and dads who are looking to re-establish their new selves as parents in the workplace. Corinne spoke with empathy for the challenges faced by the audience. She was structured in her presentation, delivered in a style suitable for the group, weaving in her personal experiences, and picking up on the points raised by the attendees. The session received positive feedback along with enthusiasm for a follow-on workshop
